Removal and Installation for Low-Pressure Pipe

Removal
1. Discharge the refrigerant. Refer to HA-24, "HFC-134a (R-134a) Service Procedure".
2. Remove the strut tower bar. Refer to FSU-12, "Exploded View".
3. Remove the upper cowl. Refer to EXT-18, "Removal and Installation".
4. Remove the lower RH cowl.
5. Remove the low-pressure pipe. Refer to HA-31, "Component".
CAUTION: Cap or wrap the joint of the pipe with a suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of contaminants.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION: • Replace the O-ring on the low-pressure pipe with a new one, then apply A/C oil to it for installation.
• After recharging the refrigerant, check for leaks. Refer to HA-25, "Checking of Refrigerant Leaks".

Removal
1. Discharge the refrigerant. Refer to HA-24, "HFC-134a (R-134a) Service Procedure".
2. Remove the strut tower bar. Refer to FSU-12, "Exploded View".
3. Remove the upper cowl. Refer to EXT-18, "Removal and Installation".
4. Remove the lower RH cowl.
5. Disconnect the power steering hose clamp to reposition the power steering hose out of the way.
6. Disconnect the harness bracket from the engine cover.
7. Remove the low-pressure pipe. Refer to HA-31, "Component".
CAUTION: Cap or wrap the joint of the pipe with a suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of contaminants.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal. CAUTION: • Replace the O-ring on the low-pressure pipe with a new one, then apply A/C oil to it for installation.
• After recharging the refrigerant, check for leaks. Refer to HA-25, "Checking of Refrigerant Leaks".
