Description

• Vehicle security indicator is built in combination meter.

• NVIS (Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System-NATS) and vehicle security system conditions are indicated by blink or illumination of vehicle security indicator.

Component Function Check

1.CHECK FUNCTION

1. Perform “THEFT IND” in the “ACTIVE TEST” mode with CONSULT-III.

2. Check vehicle security indicator operation.

Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Inspection End.

NO >> Refer to SEC-124, "Diagnosis Procedure".

Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK COMBINATION METER

Check combination meter. Refer to MWI-4, "Work Flow".

Is the inspection result is normal? YES >> GO TO 2

NO >> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

2.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCI

Refer to GI-42, "Intermittent Incident".
