Diagnosis Procedure
1. PERFORM INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE
Perform initialization procedure.
Refer to PWC-108, "POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH : Special Repair Requirement".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 2
NO >> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
2. CHECK DOOR WINDOW SLIDING PART
• A foreign material adheres to window glass or glass run rubber.
• Glass run rubber wear or deformation.
• Sash is tilted too much or not enough.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3
NO >> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
3. CHECK ENCODER CIRCUIT
Check encoder circuit.
Refer to PWC-103, "POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH : Component Function Check".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Inspection end.
NO >> Check intermittent incident. Refer to GI-42, "Intermittent Incident".
