Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Disconnect the harness connector from the ignition coil.
3. Remove the ignition coil.
CAUTION: Do not drop or shock it.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

P1572 ASCD brake switch
Description
When the brake pedal is depressed, ASCD brake switch is turned OFF and stop
lamp switch is turned ON.
ECM detects the state of the brake pedal by this input of two kinds (ON/OFF
signal).
